UnderMiXx :: Haim

Lets give up to one of dopest ALL female bands on the raise. HAIM is definitely making their mark on the music scene from here to the UK. On this upcoming track “My Song 5” featuring ASAP Ferg, we’re feeling the raspy vocals and the grudge bass beat.

Who’s paging me on my beeper?!

When it comes to fashion it’s all the about the little details and rare trinkets you can sport. Recently I’ve spotted some people actually bringing back the beeper. Remember pagers/ beepers were used for letting someone know to contact you by using different codes. You had clear beepers, black beepers, colorful cases for beepers, and different color LED screens. beeper 4

Black Scale 2014 Fall/Winter Collection

Black Scale is getting ready to release it’s much anticipated late season collection. This collection features tads of Aztec prints and star patterns against the dark grudge usual Black Scale look. You’ll see a lot more tailored inspired looks in their sweaters and jackets but still keeping that edgy streetwear feel. We’re definitely feeling the collection which seems a little more laid back from the deep dark meaning tees. What’s your thoughts?

Splits, Shimmer, and WTH?!

Last night the 2014 MTV’s Video Music Awards aired and it was all the rave… some what. On the runway we saw a lot of high splits, shimmers, and why the hell did you wear that on the red carpet? Nicki Minaj looked mature, Rita Ora brought out her inner RIH, and Chanel Iman channeled her inner darkness. As always Beyonce looked fabulous with her beach wavy blonde highlighted hair and black shimmered gown. Miley Cyrus didn’t try hard at all and Taylor Swift looked …………………..yeah. The Kardashians looked put together while Kim time traveled to the 60s. (How tall is Kim?) Overall nothing spectacular graced the red carpet until J.LO & Amber Rose shimmered their way down the red carpeted road. As always, J.LO loves her silvery gowns and dresses to highlight her beautiful figure. We’re all for it! What are your thoughts of this year’s woman’s fashion?

Did we forget to mention how fabulous Gweni Stefani & Kelly Rowland looked?!

Toronto’s First Men’s Fashion Week

(Photo credits: Paolo Musa)

Following in the footsteps of Milan, Paris and London, Toronto is the latest city to inaugurate a men’s fashion week of its own. By doing so, the city which is known for drawing a global audience to its annual Toronto International Film Festival, becomes the eighth city in the world to host a fashion week entirely dedicated to menswear.

Fall 2014 :: BAPE x Inverallan

BAPE-x-Inverallan-Collaboration-2014-01With fall on the horizon, BAPE has once again teamed up with knitwear artisans Inverallan on a winterwear collaboration, and we’ve been given the first sneak preview. Just one image has been released so far, but in it we see six super bold pullovers, each made from plush, thick-gauge wool and bearing the unmistakable BAPE branding at the breast. Named after the remote parish in rural Scotland where their workshop is based, Inverallan Hand Knitters are an outfit so small they don’t even have a website. Such is the quality of their goods, however, that they hardly need one, and if the last collaboration between these two forces is anything to go by, then these sweaters will be among the warmest, comfiest things you’ll wear all winter. Stay tuned for more info on a release date.
