If you weren’t tuned into VH1 tonight they aired an tribute to our lovely ladies of Hip Hop. Queen Latifah, Lil Kim, Missy Elliot, and Salt n Pepper featuring DJ Spinarella were the honorees. The show was amazing from start to finish and was hosted by the beautiful EVE.
Lets give up to one of dopest ALL female bands on the raise. HAIM is definitely making their mark on the music scene from here to the UK. On this upcoming track “My Song 5” featuring ASAP Ferg, we’re feeling the raspy vocals and the grudge bass beat.
Last night the 2014 MTV’s Video Music Awards aired and it was all the rave… some what. On the runway we saw a lot of high splits, shimmers, and why the hell did you wear that on the red carpet? Nicki Minaj looked mature, Rita Ora brought out her inner RIH, and Chanel Iman channeled her inner darkness. As always Beyonce looked fabulous with her beach wavy blonde highlighted hair and black shimmered gown. Miley Cyrus didn’t try hard at all and Taylor Swift looked …………………..yeah. The Kardashians looked put together while Kim time traveled to the 60s. (How tall is Kim?) Overall nothing spectacular graced the red carpet until J.LO & Amber Rose shimmered their way down the red carpeted road. As always, J.LO loves her silvery gowns and dresses to highlight her beautiful figure. We’re all for it! What are your thoughts of this year’s woman’s fashion?
Did we forget to mention how fabulous Gweni Stefani & Kelly Rowland looked?!
Nyemiah Supreme is definitely getting the shine she deserves. After following her grind for years she’s now one of the cast memebers of “Sisterhood of Hip Hop. She brings more of the trendy and fashion to rap. I love her style and delivery. What do you think?
The name, Jungle Pussy, will have you wondering what this lady is all about. After listening to her song “Want some mo” I definitely wanted to play this in my car while sipping on some lean. Minus the fact I don’t drink lean. But this Brooklyn talent has definitely collided her catchy lines on a dope beat.
I think there’s plenty of room for upcoming female rap artist to make it big. Share the floor Nicki.
